Proof That Anti Trump Polls Lie

This is an unexpected part two to a post we made several days ago.  You may have seen that post;  we called it #RealTrumpPoll.

It was a poll with more ten of the most commonly polled questions in America in recent weeks.  Why?  Because we found ourselves questioning the validity of the polls we saw on TV on a daily basis.  51% of Americans want Trump Removed Was one we very much questioned.  His approval rating was another.

And on what do we base these questions?  Am I one of those awful horrible terrible Conservatives who want to use our guns to blow up the world?  If you ask our friends in the liberal media, the answer would no doubt be yes.  I am, in fact, a conservative.  I am, in fact, the worst kind... I fully support President Donald Trump.  I may even be an agent of hell; I own 2 different MAGA hats, and as I write this, I am wearing this amazing shirt I just purchased on Amazon.

But my evil "Biased conservatism" is not why I doubt the Voracity of the many polls we see.  The truth is I have a unique perspective on the heartbeat of our great country.  I am a small business owner in a Midwestern city of just over 40k people.  I own a fairly successful sports bar; One which I and my children work in daily.  I speak personally with dozens, sometimes hundreds, of people each day.  More so, our community is a bit unique in that the partisan divide here is very close to 50/50, and has historically remained there.  Through Trump, Obama, Both Bushes, Clinton, all the way back to Reagan, this community has voted close to 50%.  

My customers are as average middle class American as can be, and I can tell you a few cold, hard facts.  In my community, the number of people who want Trump removed is no where near half.  And this, as I said, is a town half filled with Democrats.  And even with that half liberal base here, his approval rate is not in the 30s.  

And so we wondered;  is our town unique?  Or is the rest of America just overrun with Snowflakes?

Before I explain who "we" are and how we decided to test our theory, a quick disclaimer.  We have received, in other posts, some very negative comments when I use words like "snowflake".  I offer no apology, but I will offer an explanation.  In my eyes, "Democrat" is not the same thing as a "Snowflake".  Nor are all Democrats "Hacks"; but some damn sure are.

I believe that this country was founded on a series of beliefs, one of which is that we all have the right to our own political beliefs.  Weather or not I agree with your beliefs, I respect your right to have them.  In fact, I served 8 years in the United States Army, 4 of them risking my life for every American's right to have them.  But these extremist bastards have no respect for anyone's opinion other than their own.  The are, as a whole, judgemental elitists  If you disagree with their beliefs, you aren't only wrong, you're bad.  If you believe in the 2nd amendment, every shooting is your fault.  And heaven help you if you believe marriage is meant for a man or a woman, or even mention God, for that matter.  You have people like Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Rashida Talib spouting Socialist elitist propaganda and spreading a message of hate, denouncing conservatives like me for our beliefs.  I do not, in return, denounce them for theirs; as I said, I fought for their right to have them.  But I do denounce their elitist and judgemental insistence that I apologise for mine.

Now back on track.... we is Myself and my 3 teenagers.  The Conservative Opposition is a project we are doing together as a family. (Their mother passed away several years ago).  I have raised them to each have their own beliefs based on being informed, and all three have landed on the conservative side of the fence.  We write and research our posts together.  Our goal?  To connect with people.  To share our unapologetic conservative beliefs.  To possibly reach a few of the millions of disenfranchised Americans out there who have just tuned out the political world.  Have we succeeded?  More than 11k people have visited our page.  In the vast ocean of the Internet, it's just a drop.  But we're trying to do our part.  And if we all do that.... together... we really can Make America Great Again.

The poll question was a topic we have discussed amongst ourselves often.  I personally have, at times, been terrified by them.   How can half of this great country want this President removed?  Has he made mistakes?  Sure.  As a veteran I did not agree with his choice to pull out of Syria, for example.  But no rational person can argue that this country isn't a much better place under Donald Trump's watch.  Even more terrifying?  The polls that tell us that Trump would lose.... badly.... to every ridiculous Democratic candidate.  All of them.  Seriously?  

So we decided to do a poll of our own.  How?  A site called Opinion Stage.  We asked a total of 10 questions that we felt were the most important we have seen polls on.  But we wanted a true cross section of Americans.  We weren't likely to get that just posting on a page called The Conservative Opposition.  

And so we broke a rule:  we spammed.  We tweeted our poll, and dropped a link to that Tweet in every message board we could find.  We tried to be as diverse as we could; Sports boards.  Hunting boards.  Religious Boards.  Political boards, both Conservative and Liberal.  Food boards.  Car boards  Motorcycle boards.  Movie Boards.  TV boards.  Music boards.  You wouldn't believe how many of these things there are. And we hit every one we could find; between the 4 of us it took 2 days.  But... it worked.  When all was said and done, nearly 8,000 people took out little polls.  And the results were astounding.  I will list these questions, with the results, without comment until after.

1.  Overall, do you approve or disapprove of the job Trump has done as President?

Approve  61.2%

Disapprove  38.7%

2. Did Trump try to get Ukraine to assist in his Presidential campaign?

Yes  47.2%

No  52.8%

3. Does Trump really care about corruption?

Yes 77.1%

No  22.9%

4. Do you believe Joe or Hunter Biden did anything illegal?

Yes 85.2%

No  14.8%

5. Should Trump be Removed?

Yes 40.6%

No  59.4%

6. Should there be witnesses in the Senate Trial?

Yes  65.3%

No  34.7%

7. Do you believe Mitch McConnell is running a fair Trial?

Yes 50.1%

No  49.9%

8. Do you care about the Impeachment Trial?

Yes 73.3%

No  26.6%

9. Is Trump a good President?

Yes 57.4%

No  42.6%

10. Will you vote for Trump in 2020

Yes 55.1%

No  44.9%

Maybe it's just me, but those don't look like the numbers that  the media feeds us.  And as we've researched this, 8k people is actually more than a great many of the polls we see on television show us.  And we went out of our way to make sure we targeted as diverse a section of Americans as we could, fro Rap music fans to Conservative Catholics.  This is a representation in line with REAL American voices.  

So what can we gather from this experiment?  One thing we all already knew; fake news is alive and well and permeates the media.  The media is, as we all know, left leaning in most cases.  Think back to 2016.  Until literally days before the election, the polls all told us that Hillary held a comfortable double digit lead.  Why?  Because they knew she didn't!  So they tried to bury us with a sense of futility.  They wanted Americans to assume their votes didn't matter..... so they wouldn't vote!  But we see what happened.  And no matter how much they try to blame the Russians and a million other fake news liberal conspiracy theories, no matter how many ways they try to overturn that elections with their witch hunts, they can not change the truth.  America rose up and elected the man leading this great nation today.

We can not allow the propaganda machine to win this election for the extreme left.  We can not listen to their lies and sit back as they replace our President with a socialist nightmare.  These polls are just more propaganda intended to silence the conservative voice in America.  But we will not be silenced.  Please, share this.  Re Tweet it.  Like it.  Share it on Facebook and every other Social Media platform you use.  This is a message we must get out.  Americans need to make our decisions based on truth and facts;  not based on leftist false polls!
