There are a few certainties that have existed through the course of the whole Impeachment/ Removal process. For the sake of this post, I am going to try to look at this through completely non-partisan glasses. It isn't an easy task; I am a full blooded Conservative. A Patriot. An American. A veteran. I believe to my core in my Conservative beliefs.
But there are times when, to understand your opposition, you must see the world through their eyes. I ask you, the reader, to do the same, I don't ask you to abandon your beliefs, but for a moment, to see and try to understand the opposing point of view. If we can't do so, then we are no better than those who judge us. These left wing zealots call us names for our beliefs. I, as a man who fought for their right to believe what they choose will not condemn them for their beliefs. But I do condemn them for condemning mine.
This is the greatest rift between Liberals and conservatives. This new generation of Liberals has no respect for the beliefs of others. They say we are evil for our beliefs. A true conservative holds firm in their beliefs while respecting the rights of all Americans to have their own.
So back to the topic at hand. The few certainties in this entire ordeal. These are things no one can really dispute. Regardless of party, these things will not change. You could ask Donald Trump. You could ask Bernie Sanders. Hell, you could ask Hillary Clinton about these two points. They will all agree.
- Point 1: The House of Representatives was going to Impeach Donald Trump. This was a fact. There was not one single person in Washington who had any doubt this was going to happen.
- Point 2: The Senate is not going to remove Donald Trump. This is absolutely as certain as Point 1. There is not one person who believes anything else. No rational person, at any rate. CNN and MSNBC may bray into our ears repeatedly about Susan Collins and Mitt Romney, but while they may ride along on voting for witnesses and such, There is about as much chance of the Senate removing Donald Trump as there is of the Patriots winning another Super Bowl this year.
And so the question remains. Why are the Democrats attempting to climb this mountain when they know it is impossible? Do they believe they can win?
I promise you the truth is far more terrifying than you might believe.
First of all, if you have one shred of belief in the notion that Nancy Pelosi does not rule the Democrats in Washington with an iron hand, put it to rest now. Yes, you see small fires of rebellion within the party, mostly with the new wave of ultra liberals like AOC and Ilhan Omar. But if you study the Democratic party, you will see that these are controlled burn fires. To Nancy Pelosi, the squad and their like are merely pawns. She allows them a certain amount of leeway for one reason; they are the one thing she cannot be. A pipeline to the younger generation. But this woman is more in control than many of us realise.
And on that thought wavelength, do not for one moment assume that she is a fool. Nancy Pelosi is as good a pure politician as any person in Washington. Study her. Study the way she influences the liberal media and uses it to process and reprocess her propaganda. You do not rise to the top of one of America's Political parties if you are an idiot. Nancy Pelosi is a monster you cannot underestimate.
So back to square one. Why has she launched a crusade she cannot win? Is it a political ploy? Doubtful. While perhaps not quite as certain as Points 1 and 2, the notion that enough of either base will be swayed is almost laughable. If anything, the process seems to be taking its toll far more on Democrats than Republicans over time.
The answer is far more simple that you might think. This entire fiasco is an exercise in misdirection. For months now, Pelosi and her minions have kept America as a whole focused on one thing; this process. But what exactly is the goal if not Trump's removal?
The answer lies in the Articles of Impeachment themselves.

In the last paragraph of Article one, we find this:
Wherefore President Trump, by such conduct, has demonstrated that he will remain a threat to national security and the Constitution if allowed to remain in office, and has acted in a manner grossly incompatible with self-governance and the rule of law. President Trump thus warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.
In this seemingly innocuous passage, tucked quietly away at the end of an article the Democrats knew full well most people would not read, lies the secret. The last sentence, in fact, is the very thing this entire circus has been about. All of the fireworks. All of the propaganda. All of the lies, fake news, and staged drama has been to keep our focus away from that one simple sentence. And why? For the answer, we turn to Justia, which is essentially the online bible for American law:
Because conviction requires a two thirds vote, this means that Removal can only occur as a result of the same two thirds vote. Unlike removal, disqualification is a discretionary judgement, and there is no explicit constitutional linkage to the two thirds vote on conviction. Although an argument can be made that disqualification should also require a two-thirds vote, The Senate has determined that a disqualification may be accomplished by a simple majority vote.
And what exactly does that mean? It means that while it would take 67 of the 100 Senate Votes to Remove Donald Trump from office, it would only take 51 to disqualify him from running once again in 2020.
And therein lies Democrats' plan. The Pelosi led left wing media continues to bury us beneath statements from criminals, opinionated testimonies from questionable witnesses, and outright lies with the desperate hope that a handful of Senators will be convinced to join them in silencing the voices of American voters, or, as an even less likely plan B, to convince enough Americans to vote Enough Democrats in to impeach Remove him in 2021.
Will it work? Doubtful. But it is, for Pelosi and her army, the most logical strategy. The simple fact is that left to the voters, Donald Trump will be re-elected in 2020. I know, the polls tell us all that every Democratic candidate will comfortably defeat Trump. But here's another simple truth; polls lie. None of the candidates the Democrats have to offer is likely to displace Trump, and so the Democrats will continue to try and rewrite the constitution, take away our voice, and steal power for themselves at the cost of our freedom and liberty.
But we cannot rest easy. While a "blue wave"is unlikely, it cannot be ignored that Democrats are, in fact mobilising. Much like they did for Obama when he won his first term, they will be working to bring in as many voters.... real and fake... as they can. Millions of older Americans have passed away the last 3 years, replaced by millions of young people; a generation of millennials, many of whom are sadly brainwashed by the liberal media.
The answer lies in you. And in me. Each of us needs to do our part. This new wave of Liberals markets in lies, and the obvious antidote for lies is truth. The first step is to be aware of truth. My kids and I started this page based on an idea; digging into the fake news and rooting out the truth has been a hobby of ours for some time now. We have debunked many of the Liberal garbage tales out there; not because we have outstanding journalistic skills, but because we are persistent. (See the link above to the lying polls story). First, by educating yourself. When you see a story, question it. Dig for truth. And share that truth. talk to the people in your lives. When you see lies and injustice, let others know. And most importantly.... vote. Help others to vote. If you know someone who isn't voting... help them to do so. If every one of us brings just one person who wouldn't have voted along when we do, #Trump2020Landslide will become a reality.
